Another addition to the Multimatic range, the Miller 215 is a Flux Cored (FCAW), MIG (GMAW), Stick (SMAW) and TIG DC (GTAW-DC) welder within one machine. Can be used on both 120V and 240V input power, and weighs only 38lb (17.2 KG).
When using 240V input voltage you can weld 3/8” mild steel in one pass, considering the features and weight of this welder it’s a superb choice if you’re comparing multiprocess welders.

Overview of Features
Portability: This unit weighs only 38 lb (17.2 kg), making it easily portable. It’s also a small sized unit which makes storage and transportation needed, a crucial feature if you’re tight on storage space or move between jobs a lot.
Multi-Voltage Plug (MVP): Switch between 120V and 240V input with Millers tool-less Multi-Voltage Plug. Simply choose the plug which fits into the power outlet, and connect the welders power cord to the plug.
Thermal Overload Protection: This feature will automatically cut power if airflow through the machine is blocked or duty cycle is exceeded, ensuring the lifetime of your equipment isn’t reduced due to over heating.
Fan on Demand: Operating only when needed, the internal cooling fans will turn on and off according to unit temperature without any manual intervention. This means the unit is quieter when operating, more energy efficient and reduces the amount of contaminants drawn through the unit.
Auto-Set Elite: Allows you to automatically set the parameters of the welder, even with different materials, thicknesses and welding processes. Helps lower the barrier to welding which is especially desirable for DIY/Beginner welders.
Color LCD User Interface: A great interface with a colour display which is easy to read and adjust parameters. Extremely easy to use, and a nice looking interface too.
True Blue 3 Year Warranty: A 3 year warranty on the welder itself, including parts and labour. The Gun warranty is for 90 days, also including parts and labour.
Multiprocess Capabilities: Has the ability to perform MIG, TIG and Stick welding all from one machine. It does require extra peripherals which may not be included with the welder, such as a Spool Gun if wishing to weld with Aluminium, and the TIG Kit.
Auto Spool Gun Detect: No external circuitry needed for this welder to be compatible with a Spool Gun, as it will be automatically detected when connected.
Will this welder suit my needs?
The Multimatic 215 is capable of multiple welding processes within one unit, and can weld from 25 ga. – 3/8″ mild steel in one pass. With other features such as autoset elite, the 3 year warranty and multi-voltage plug makes this model extremely versatile in application. Offering 3 welding processes also means you can use this on a variety of processes, by only swapping over the nescessary guns and mode on the machine. If you intend to work with a range of projects, or want the convenience of only one machine with this range of functionality, this model is a perfect choice.
